The Great Birth Tribulation

To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you will bring forth children. Yet your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you."
Genesis 3:16

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars;    and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.   Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.   And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.    And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
Revelation 12:1-5

Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the tribulation because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.... In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
John 16:21-22,33

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.   For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revelation of the sons of God.  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope    that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.   For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
Romans 8:18-22

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.   But all these things are  the beginning of birth pangs.   Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.
Matthew 24:7-9

Jesus & The Temple

Jesus answered them, "Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up."   The Jews then said, "It took forty-six years to build this Temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"   But He was speaking of the Temple of His body.
John 2:19-21

You who are going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself!
Matthew 27:40

Jesus came out from the Temple and was going away when his disciples came up to point out the Temple buildings to im.    And he said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down."    As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?"
Matthew 24:1-3.

As He was going out of the Temple, one of his disciples said to Him, "Teacher, behold what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!"    And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another which will not be torn down."    As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew were questioning him privately,    "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?"
Mark 13:1-4

And while some were talking about the Temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and votive gifts, He said,   As for these things which you are looking at, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon another which will not be torn down."   They questioned him, saying, "Teacher, when therefore will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?"
Luke 21:5-7

The veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
Matthew 27:51

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,    by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh,
Hebrews 10:19-20

He entered the Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.... how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?.... Christ did not enter a Holy Place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
Hebrews 9:12,14,24
